Nehir Erdoğan revived the character of Ebru in "Broken Angel"
(Meleğin Sırları, 2008), a romantic adaptation of a Turkish girl's
life. In the film, we can also say with heartfelt comfort that she
has honored her title.

This movie is an adaptation of "Windy City (Ruzgarli Sehir)"
a novel by Chicago resident, Tulay Pirlant. It tells the real life
story of Ebru, a Turkish girl who came to America in the 80s
and fell prey to the image of fame and fortune. The story is
adapted by Leslie Bates and directed by Aclan Buyukturkoglu.
